Your technician walks through the interior and exterior of your Charlotte home. Outside, the check covers the foundation perimeter, crawlspace access points, garage entries, window frames, and utility penetrations. Inside, the focus is wherever pest activity shows up, such as kitchen cabinets, baseboards, bathrooms, attics, or crawlspaces.
Your technician treats the exterior perimeter and targets confirmed entry points and harborage areas. Inside, treatment goes only where active pests are found. For rodents, snap traps go along interior travel paths and tamper-resistant bait stations go around the outside. If small gaps turn up, your technician seals openings under 2 by 2 inches.
Your home stays on a tri-annual service schedule, and each visit builds on what your technician documented the time before. If covered pests show up between scheduled visits, reach out by call or text. Your technician comes back to inspect and re-treat at no extra cost.

The Charlotte team works out of the Sage Pest Control office at 4221 Joe St. Each General Pest Control visit includes an interior and exterior inspection, exterior perimeter treatment, and de-webbing and nest removal. Targeted baiting and minor exclusion work are added when the inspection calls for them.

For homes up to 5,000 square feet, the General Pest Control program starts at $49 per month with a $299 initial service fee. Homes between 5,001 and 7,000 square feet start at $54 per month.
Above 7,000 square feet, an extra $5 per month applies for each additional 1,000 square feet. Fire ant coverage can be added for $10 more per month.
Free re-services are included between scheduled visits under the General Pest Control program. If covered pests are still active after treatment, call or text Sage Pest Control. The technician returns to inspect the area and re-treat at no additional cost.
American cockroaches are large and reddish-brown, and they turn up in basements, crawlspaces, and around drains. Smokybrown cockroaches live outdoors in mulch, leaf litter, and rooflines but move inside in warm or humid weather. Oriental cockroaches, sometimes called water bugs, prefer cool, damp spots near plumbing.
Brown-banded cockroaches are less common and show up in higher, drier areas like cabinets and closets. The General Pest Control program covers all four. German cockroaches, which settle into kitchens and bathrooms, need a separate treatment program.
Yes. Subterranean termites are the most common termites Sage Pest Control finds in North Carolina. They build mud tubes from the soil to reach wood through foundation cracks, plumbing penetrations, or anywhere wood touches soil. Warning signs include mud tubes on foundation walls, hollow-sounding wood, and winged swarmers indoors.
Sage Pest Control installs termite bait stations in the soil around the home. Termites carry the bait back to the colony, which helps eliminate it over time. Your technician inspects the property first and builds the plan around what the inspection finds.
The program covers ants, spiders, cockroaches other than German cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, silverfish, beetles, and pantry pests. It also covers pill bugs, centipedes, millipedes, scorpions, mice, rats, non-honey bees, and paper wasps. Flies, fleas, and ticks are treated inside the home when needed.
German cockroaches, bed bugs, termites, yellow jackets, and bald-faced hornets each need a separate program. Fire ants can be added to the plan for an extra fee. Sage Pest Control does not treat honey bees or offer drain fly treatment for residential customers.
