The visit starts outside, with a check of foundation walls, garage thresholds, crawlspace openings, bathroom vents, and gaps where utility lines enter. Your technician then moves inside to the rooms where you have seen activity. That might be kitchen cabinets, baseboards, bathroom vanities, or the attic.
A perimeter treatment goes around the outside of the home, with extra attention to harborage spots and confirmed entry points. Indoors, only areas with confirmed activity get treated. Rodent activity calls for snap traps inside along travel paths, with tamper-resistant bait stations outside. Openings smaller than 2 by 2 inches get sealed on the spot.
After the first visit, service continues three times a year. Between those visits, free re-services are part of the plan. Text or call if covered pests come back, and a technician returns to re-treat at no charge.

Homes up to 5,000 square feet pay $49 a month for General Pest Control, plus a $299 initial service. Homes from 5,001 to 7,000 square feet pay $54 a month.
Larger homes add $5 a month for every 1,000 square feet beyond 7,000. Fire ant coverage is an optional $10 a month add-on.
General Pest Control includes free re-services. If covered pests are still showing up after a treatment, text or call Sage Pest Control. A technician will return, inspect, and re-treat without an added charge.
Four species cover most sightings. American cockroaches are big and reddish-brown, turning up in basements, crawlspaces, and storm drains. Smokybrown cockroaches stay outside around mulch beds, leaf litter, and rooflines until warm, humid weather drives them in.
Oriental cockroaches, often called water bugs, favor cool, damp areas around plumbing. Brown-banded cockroaches turn up less often, usually high and dry in cabinets and closets. General Pest Control covers all four. German cockroaches, usually found in kitchens and bathrooms, need their own treatment program.
Tick activity usually starts in March or April as temperatures warm and runs through October or November. Ticks are most active in spring and fall. Because local winters are mild, ticks can stay active on any day above freezing.
General Pest Control includes indoor tick treatment when needed. For ticks in the yard, Sage Select and Pro-Yard packages treat lawns, landscaping, and shaded areas for ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes.
Mice can fit through openings about a quarter inch wide, roughly the width of a pencil. Rats can squeeze through gaps around half an inch. Common entry points include gaps around doors, utility lines, pipes, vents, damaged soffits, rooflines, and foundation cracks.
